How we collect, use and protect your personal data, and the rights you have under the GDPR.

Last updated: 15 June 2026

Who is responsible for your data

L&W Advisory ("we", "us") is the controller of the personal data processed through this website. The website is operated by [legal entity name], [legal form, e.g. SRL], with registered office at [registered office address], Belgium, company number [BCE number], VAT [BE VAT number]. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at info@landw.be.

What data we collect

We only collect data that is relevant to providing our corporate finance advisory services and to responding to your requests:

 • Contact form: your name, company, email address, the nature of your request and the content of your message.
 • Appointment booking: when you book a meeting, the scheduling is handled by Calendly (see processors below), which collects your name, email and chosen time slot.
 • Direct correspondence: the information you share when you write or speak to us by email or phone.
 • Engagement data: for clients, the financial and corporate information needed to deliver a valuation, model or transaction support.
 • Technical and usage data: limited cookie and browsing data, only as described in the Cookies section.

Why we use it, and our legal bases

 • To answer your enquiries and assess whether we can help: our legitimate interest in responding, and the steps taken at your request before any engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
 • To deliver our services to clients: performance of our engagement (Art. 6(1)(b)).
 • To meet legal obligations, including accounting and tax record-keeping (Art. 6(1)(c)).
 • To measure audience and load optional third-party tools (such as our scheduling tool): your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies (for example to remember your language and your cookie choices) are always active. Audience-measurement and third-party functional cookies (such as those used to load our scheduling tool) are set only with your consent. You can review or change your choices at any time.

Who has access to your data

We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf (processors), under appropriate agreements, and with your professional advisors when you ask us to. Our main providers are:

 • Web3Forms — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox.
 • Calendly — manages online appointment booking (loaded only with your consent).
 • [Hosting provider] — hosts the website.
 • Google Fonts — serves the website fonts, which may involve a connection to Google's servers.

Transfers outside the EU

Some of our providers (such as Web3Forms and Calendly) are based outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred there, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. You can ask us for more details.

How long we keep it

 • Enquiries and booking requests: up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless an engagement follows.
 • Client engagement files: for the duration of the engagement and as long as required by law (accounting and tax records are kept for 10 years in Belgium).
 • Cookie consent: your choices are stored for up to 6 months.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to the founders, and strict confidentiality on every file.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to info@landw.be.

If you believe your data is not handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The current version is always the one published on this page.
